February Blizzard

During the first couple of days in February, we ended up with about 19 inches of snow, which was then followed up with high winds. When we went to bed, it was not snowing. This is what we woke up to the next morning. Yes, school was cancelled! Jason is tackling the front walkway with the snowblower. Lucky for us, most of the snow on the driveway was blown off with the high winds.
I love this picture of the boys looking out the front door.

Just a little bit of snow out there!

There is a snowblower in there somewhere!

I let the boys play outside for about 20 minutes before it got too cold. After the snow came through, the winds picked up and the temperatures dropped. They loved going down the slide into the big snow piles.

Aidan fell through the snow.

Carson going down the slide.

The boys went behind the snow. Payton had already made her path around the perimeter of the yard.

If you look closely, you can see Aidan behind the snow in the back.

It isn't a snow storm without some snow angels!

After the storm passed, I went into work (tax season!!) and saw a dump truck hauling away the excess snow. There was so much snow, they didn't have anywhere to put it.
