Jaxon- 5 weeks

Jaxon is 5 weeks old now!  He went into the doctor for his one month checkup and he is a growing boy!  He measured 23 inches long and 10 pounds 7.5 ounces.  He has gained about 2.5 pounds and 2.5 inches since birth.  He is starting to coo and babble, especially at the ceiling fans and his mobiles.  He loves to lay on his mat and "exercise".  He gets those arms and legs really moving sometimes! 

Jaxon has discovered how to use his tongue lately.  He sticks it out all the time now.  It is cute now, but won't be so cute when he is older!  :-)

Jaxon is one month old!!

Jaxon is one month old already!  As you can see, he doesn't like to be swaddled but rather all stretched out when he sleeps.

Jaxon's umbilical cord finally fell off this week so he can finally have his first real bath.

Jaxon-week 4

Jaxon is 4 weeks old now.  Time is flying by! 
We think his eyes may stay blue.  I love this picture.  The boys love when he makes his "oooh" face.

 To make sure I am able to get out every once in a while, we have introduced Jaxon to a bottle every few days.  Aidan and Carson were able to feed him for the first time.  They loved it!

 Jaxon's favorite place to nap is his swing.  I also added this picture because I love the wild hair!

Jaxon- week 3

Jaxon is 3 weeks old now.  Time is just flying by!  We have started going for walks in the morning which he seems to enjoy.  Most of the time, he falls asleep, but other times, he just relaxes.  He is bright-eyed and aware of his surroundings this week.  He is starting to lift his head up more often and look around.  He is starting to move his hands around and grab onto things.  He is still sleeping well for the most part.  He has had a couple of nights when he doesn't seem to enjoy what I had for dinner!  The boys think it is really funny how loud his gas is sometimes!  Doesn't take much to entertain boys sometimes!

 He loves his pacifier.  He will chomp on that thing for a long time, which is a good thing to give mommy a break every once in a while!
