Fun out at the farm on Easter

This year we went to Jason's grandparents farm for Easter. It was a beautiful, sunny day. It was perfect for outside activities. No trip to the farm would be complete without a ride on the 4-wheeler with Uncle Kris. Carson loves riding on the 4-wheeler. Aidan and Abby went on hikes around the farm and enjoyed the weather.
Carson tagged along with Jason and me for a hike. He loved throwing the rocks into the streams. I still can't believe how far he walked without complaining once!

Here is one of the rocks he found.

The kids had their annual Easter egg hunt. Carson did very well!

Aidan and Abby on the hunt for more eggs.

Best buddies.

With the Easter baskets, the Easter bunny also brought shovels. Carson put his to good use on Great-Grandpas drive.

Carson loves rolling down the hill.

It was a great, relaxing day. Everyone slept well that night after being outside most of the day.

Easter egg fun

The boys had some fun dyeing Easter eggs. Here are some of the pictures from the fun.

Carson coloring his egg before putting in the dye.

Carson's Spring Sing 2011

On April 20th, Carson's preschool has their Spring Sing program for the 3, 4, and 5 year old classes. Since Carson tends to do things on his own terms, and he is a bit stubborn (don't know where he gets that from), we weren't sure if he would participate. The theme was a day at the beach. Carson wore his favorite beach shirt along with a Hawaiian Lei and yellow sunglasses. He went right out on the stage with his friends and sang along. We were so proud and a little shocked, quite honestly.

The whole group together.

I love the lips in this picture....so funny.

Great job Carson!!
