The Tooth Fairy visits Aidan!

Earlier this week, Aidan lost his first baby tooth. That night, Aidan put his tooth under his pillow so he could get a treat/prize from the tooth fairy.
The next morning, Aidan came into our room and didn't say anything. I let him think about it for a minute and then when he didn't remember, I asked him what he got from the tooth fairy. He said he had forgotten and ran back into his room. He came back in with his dollar and Carson's questions began. As I sat back and listened to the boys, it was really neat to hear how Aidan was explaining this new life experience to his little brother.
Carson: "Aidan, did something happen in your room?"
Aidan: "Yes Carson the tooth fairy visited me and brought me a dollar"
Carson: "Aidan where is your tooth?"
Aidan: "The tooth fairy took it when she gave me the dollar"
Carson: "Aidan is the tooth fairy a monster? Is it scary? Did it scare you?"
Aidan: "No Carson, the tooth fairy is nice. But it scared me a little when I felt the tooth fairy moving around under my pillow"
Carson: "When I am 6, I will lose a tooth and the tooth fairy will visit me and give me a dollar too"
Aidan: "Yep, buddy you are right"

Carson had some other great questions for Aidan that I can't remember now and didn't write them down. I thought it was great how well Aidan explained the new situation to Carson and was very patient with him even though he had a lot of questions.

Every night, Carson has been checking under his pillow to make sure there is nothing hiding under there!
