Father's Day 2011

On day 3 of our Florida vacation, we went to a Tampa Rays game to celebrate Father's Day. This is the Sky Bridge that we had to cross on our way to the stadium.

A view of the field from our seats. Luckily it was a dome stadium, so we didn't have to worry about 95 degree heat! Aidan enjoyed some blue cotton candy and even got some on in his mouth!

As a special family day event, the kids were able to run the bases on the field after the game. And since it was Father's Day, Jason was able to go too. I am not sure who enjoyed it more, Jason or the boys. Here is a picture of Carson and Jason crossing home plate. Aidan ran at top speed around the bases and due to the crowd, I didn't get a good shot.

Carson liked all of the mascots.

It was a great Father's Day. The boys had a great time at the game and to top it off the Rays won! As a souvenir, the boys received a bobblehead upon entry into the park and a Rays baseball.
