We headed to the beach, about a 5 minute walk over the draw bridge. (Siesta Key beach) The boys were so excited. Their plan to bury Jason in the sand was quickly cancelled due to the temperature of the sand! It was very hot in some spots. Once we were closer to the water, it was better, but it was too fine to bury him too deep.

Right outside the condo in Sarasota, there was a draw bridge. We were able to catch it going up on our first day for a tall sailboat passing through. The kids loved it!
We had a great first day on the beach. The kids were able to play around on the sand and run into the waves. Day 3 we headed to a Tampa Rays game for Father's Day.
