Baby Doctor Appt #2

I had another doctor appointment this afternoon. It was the long one where they ask you ten million questions and take all of your blood. If you can't tell, it is always my favorite appointment with each pregnancy. The one great thing about this appointment was that I was able to hear the baby's heartbeat again today. At first the baby was hiding and I thought I might be getting another ultrasound to check it out, but as the doctor went over to the left side of my belly, there was that awesome sound of a baby's heartbeat. It was measuring at 168bpm this time so nice and healthy. I think it is interesting that the doctor found the heartbeat on the left side considering that is where I have been feeling the majority of the "growing" pains lately. Dear baby, you have the whole tummy to use. No need to crowd over the left side!
I go back again in 4 weeks for another checkup and then 4 weeks after that appointment will be another ultrasound which will hopefully tell us if we will be a family with 3 boys or 2 boys and a girl. I can't wait for that appointment! I am a big planner, so finding out the sex of the baby helps out a lot! I can start planning the nursery and start thinking of names and many other new mommy tasks.
